The course provides participants with professional knowledge related to the safety activity of Railway Vehicle Maintenance, regulated by Decree 4/2012 of ANSFISA, the National Agency for the Safety of Railways and Road and Highway Infrastructure.

Course description

This course defines the methods to ensure that personnel who have directly requested it or belong to a maintenance workshop receive the necessary training to understand and correctly perform maintenance operations on the safety components of railway vehicles authorized to circulate on the National Railway Infrastructure.

In particular, the objective of this training course is to enable the personnel involved to:

  • Raise awareness among staff about the importance of maintenance activities, particularly those related to the safety components of railway vehicles.
  • Assess the actual working conditions.
  • Understand the regulations, technical provisions, and procedures related to the “Vehicle Maintenance” activity.
  • Identify and consult the various reference and application documents.
  • Precisely apply a working method.
  • Learn behaviors that are compatible with essential safety responsibilities.
  • Understand the risks associated with maintenance activities on the safety components of railway vehicles.

The requirements for access to the course are as follows:

Must have completed 18 years of age.
